Our Journey

PixeLuxe started with a small group of young makers who wanted to create fun, tangible products. We believe in simplicity and in the power of objects you can hold, turn, and play with in the light.

Pixel Crystal

Our first product grew out of a love for pixel art. We wanted more people to experience it, so we created Pixel Crystal – a handheld optical lens that turns real scenes into retro, pixel-style views with no app or filter. We chose crystal glass instead of common plastics or acrylic so the pixelated image stays clear and vivid.

Built with our community

Some ideas come straight from the people who use our products. The Pixel Macintosh case was shaped by suggestions and design ideas from our online community, and a large portion of its revenue goes to the creator who inspired it.

Playing with light

From there we kept exploring what light can do: the Caustic Lens projects a hidden custom image when light passes through it, and our Custom Animated Hologram Film Card turns a short GIF or video into a physical card that moves when you tilt it.
